Ashton Antique Sovereign Pot XXX # 6

A Sovereign Antique - a pot sitter, silverwork circa 1885-1905, probably German from the stamps. This extremely extremely rare two piece shank and stem band. The shank band starts the pattern with leave tip and then flowers and plants, one of which is definitely a Tulip, the pattern continues the same on the stem part the it the top a bottom part is scalloped. On the shank bottom of the bank is a flat clear part for somebody's initials to be engraved. The silverwork is new from 100+ years ago. The stem and shank have a screw in metal fitting. It screws in easily and lines up the patterns spot on. Not a push pull.

Amazing the new condition of this silverwork fittings. That were probably made in Germany.
