Dunhill Brown shell 1960's U.K. # EBI 8

Dunhill rare pipe - condition VG+

The pipe originally came from Dave Neeb. "The 92 is a very desirable Dunhill, commanding a bit of a premium because of the Sterling AD shank cap and its scarcity.  I can’t date the pipe other than to say that it was likely made in the 60’s, based mostly on the age of the rest of the Dunhills in this collection..  The 92 had no smooth panel for nomenclature so it was originally stamped into the stem.  That stamping never lasted long and it’s gone on this pipe.  There’s some residual darkening on the rim and it’s been a bit overbuffed but it’s still a lovely, very collectible piece.  No tooth marks."
