Tatsuo Tajima Poker # 16

In a way this pipe could be a Japanese Poker. The asymmetry of pipe is very much a Japanese signature. The bowl is a somewhat reverse Volcano. With its multiple asymmetries, to - bottom, side - side, left - right, plus a few curves the briefest glance says Japan. With this distinctive look it all comes together in a well balanced way.  The staining is unique in that each panel is red/dark brown & the  next being bronze/black. The balance of this pipe makes it a perfect sitter. The pipe is hand carved to create this tree bark look.  The stem is cumberland.
