Castello Old Antiquari Saxophone (G ) # 404

This is a neo-classic Italianate high shanked bent. Part of its DNA is obviously Dublin. It has steeper angles & a narrower cross section that gives a large bowl with less total volume than a bent Dublin. With it's stick stem it is slimmer with a copious bowl and relatively thick walls. The slimmer shank and stem lighten the pipes weight, look and feel. The well defined deep sandblast brings out the ring grain. A handsome pipe by any account. For a medium size pipe with relatively thick walls the pipe is very lightweight. Set to deliver a long cool session.
