Clark Layton Dublin # DL 108
Clark an artisan US pipesmith is known for his Dublin's. He seems to have an innate feel for making them regular sized & handsome - yes, that's the word. This pipe is a Dublin with an almost Tulip rim distinct from a flat rim showing his idea of a flowing line curvaceous loo. The bowl tapers to the shank and on the bowl front flows round as it becomes the shank while on the inside it has a sharper angle then form top and bottom the shank widens a flares almost suggesting a reverse calabash. The shank flare continues onto the stem and then becomes a saddle. A very fine looking pipe.
