Jose Rubio Bent Brandy # JR 59

A wonderful bent with Jose's trademark deep grained sandblast. Here we see how master reads the blocks grain and then deep blasts to bring out what he sees. 

While it is a smaller pipe Brandy it walls are thick and will deliver a cool too hand & mouth smoke.

With this pipe Jose decided the adornment would be the layered tropical wood wide oval shank extension he made that contrasts well with the hand cut Cumberland stem. With its wide V shaped shank and the slight squaring off the sides of its' gives it a distinctly unique look that heightens the artists' signature. As a dear pipe friend of mine said " if I can't tell who made it from across the room, it is just another piper". This one certainly fills that criteria. Giving it a very much a times gone past styling.
