Northern Briars '1/8 Bend Large Apple Octagon' # 35

Definitely an ODA 1/8" bent  with a long shank.  A classic partial bent eight-sided Apple by one of the few makers of traditional British pipes.  When Bill Taylor encouraged him to start making pipes, he quickly knew what he was about and soon reintroduced many classic shapes, from the past. This Octagon has 5 sides smooth  Bruyere finish and three sides rough with a Cumberland mouthpiece. Overall a striking large piece  with a thick walled copious bowl. (GR5)
