Northern Briars 'Pear' # 102 *New*

Definitively a classic Pear with a Charatan double comfort type mouthpiece.  Made by Ian Walker one of the few makers of traditional British pipes. Notice the revived double comfort stem. Few carvers do this shape anymore. Ian did his apprenticeship learning  repairs from his father who was the foremost UK repairman of his day. He learnt much from working on Charatan's and always admired them. He has made reintroducing Charatan shapes of of his signature sahpes. Sitter. (GR4)
