Northern Briars Cooper Silver Band # 53
The Cooper was a classic from the late 30's. The came WWII and briar was unavailable. In the early 60's Ian revived it. This one has a sterling band on the shank. The Cumberland stem well compliments the bowls light natural finish flame grain with birdseye on the bottom. A Cooper, like a squat bulldog or Rhodesian always is a wide mouth bowl, thick walled with 1 3/8" - 1 5/8" diameter. To deliver a long cool session. A sitter and a stunner.
