Northern Briars 'Cup & Sauce' # 11
Definitely an ODA size for this handsome Cup & Saucer. The few pipesmiths who make this shape each do it somewhat differently. Yet, all shape a common ancestry. It is believed that GBD's Horace "Horry" Jamieson, long-time Barling pipemaker, one of the rare British pipemakers skilled in freehand design, who left Charatan to to GBD in the 1960's, introduced this shape. What ever the case Ian is one British pipe maker who continues this tradition of Quaints, Uniques etc. (GR5)
