Abi Natur Flying Dutchman # 1021
If you look at this pipe carefully you will see the Dutchman's ship sailing through the night heaven's. Abi's visualization of the legendary tale. It a complex shape that's curvaceous as a three master with unfurled sails. The pipes lines swoop in the side view and flow smoothly to the shank and continue through the stem. The mouthpiece is almost two tiered suggesting the bridge looking forward and the stern towards the button. Unusually the best view of the pipe is from the back or slightly above. The grain is very good especially tight on the bowls back swoops with rim all birds eye. The two back of the bowl curvatures a when you thumb fits very comfortably (right or left handed) for a large pipe. Most surprisingly the pipe is a sitter and should you so wish it will spin on its axis.
