Abi Natur Dublin Lumberjack # 1034
Abi's naming this superb pipe tells us much about his imagination. The Dublin is an Irish originated shape while the pipe has a very keel like shank and stem. As Dublin & every other Irish city was founded by Vikings (think longboats), who stayed. It fuses two shared cultures history in his imagination. Perfect two point sitter. The lumberjack part I think may refer to the Vikings rulers cutting down trees to build their longships.
The shape itself is a Dublin bowl with a sort of ring/collar descends from the shank to form a rest under the bowl from whence the triangulated botton is the keel. The collar & keel make this a perfect sitter. In master pipe maker Abi's hands it works exceedingly.
