Commonweal II Bent Bulldog # 2344

A somewhat traditional bent Bulldog as per its overall shape. The Japanned look comes from the Yūri-kinsai technique - lacquer with real gold leaf dots - on the rim that cascade over the right side & down the back to the bowl bottom. The boxwood shank extension physically softens the sharpness of the shank diamond edges making a fine compiiment to the Cumberland style Vulcanite stem. A bulldog like no other.
