David Huber Horn # DH 15
This superb good sized Horn exhibits many elements of David's signature artistry. The pipe is very asymmetrical and yet has an internal adhesion that from some angles makes it look symmetrical. It has a perfect balance point is on the bottom, as expected, and it will spin around its center axis on a smooth surface. Perfect sitter.
More significantly David sandblasts the upper front and sides of the pipe bringing out the ring grain. The bottom sandblast begins from the rims edge a flows to the shanks endpoint.
With walls this thick you could use Flake in this pipe and throughout it would be comfortable to hand.
The stem is hand cut & further strengthening the pipe is that the tenon is longer than normal.
