David Huber Fig # DH 11
This to my eye is a Fig. One can see here how he read the grain from the block and followed & coaxed it into what he saw in his mind's eye. The bowl is tight contrasty flame grain and is so all around the bowl. The bottom has some really fine birdseye. In a sense showing the root from where each flame grows from. This is an exceedingly rare grain being so consistent.
The walls are thick and with its healthy sized bowl it will deliver a cool smoke and prove it's not just another pretty face.
With its stunning grain & unique shaping we see a young master at work.
