David Huber # DH 3

DH # 3 Davids names some of his pipe that defy easy description. The superb larger pipe he calls "leaf on the water". It was aptly named with it's edges, angles and curves that all flow smoothly one into the other. The sides have tight & consistent flame grain with tight birdseye totally covering the bottom and shank. What I believe is boxwood (lighter color) is part of the stem. It also being sturdy give one a  place to grip when opening for cleaning. Further strengthening the pipe is that the tenon is thicker than expected. Making the engineering above so many. With stunning grain & unique shaping we sense a budding master at work.
