MarTelo "Swan" # 1067
Gustavo Cunha's version of the classic - Dunhill pre WWII 'Swan". It was original introduced by Dunhill in the 1920's (stamped LC or 120LC). Then it was no longer in favor in after WW II - a few were last made in the 70's. It did not fit in their post war industrial production lines. It was and remains a difficult shape to make.
Gustavo has long studied the vocabulary of pipes and mastered the art. To revive this classic 'Swan' with his style of it. This Gustavo 'Swan' follows the traditional "S" curve with the slight downward tilt at the mouthpiece's end. The blast is as deep as one could ask for with some of the best ring grain I have ever seen. Comfortable to hold. It passes a cleaner. A fine a swan as I have ever seen.
