Northern Briars 'Long Shank Bulldog"# 46
A long shank Bulldog. A shape that was common in Northern England the 50's/60's. Not surprising from a pipe maker who lives on a British canal boat & grew up learning "the" family pipe repair business. The benefits of a Bulldog with its thick walls added to by a long shank to give it added coolness.
What ever the case, Ian is one the few British pipe maker who continues the tradition's of Quaints, Uniques etc. (GR3)
