Tatsuo Tajima Panel Billiard # 19

This is Tatu's Panel Billiard with a slight asymmetry. The square cut bowl is well grained on all four sides, with the front left corner rounded and smooth, giving the pipe its partial irregularity. The square cut shank repeats this motif with upper left corner being smooth, in a way mirroring the bowl smooth part. 

All Japanese art derives its ideas from nature as does this pipe. The walls are surprising thick for a pipe of this size & with its long shank ensures that it delivers a cool smoke. Sitter.
