Tatsuo Tajima Tulip # 42

This pipe I would best describe as a Dublin with a drop Tulip rim, a slight flare to the shank that is most pronounced and mimics the rim. A very organic shape. The rim is a smooth/carved with gold accents in the laquer. An ancient Japanese technique. The stain is flame grain sandblast. WIth the lines alternating between light/dark brown and black. Creating a light dark contrast. Overall a good sized thick walled briar ready to deliver a long cool to hand session. The stem is semi translucent blue lucite.

Note: It's a perfect sitter.
