This is large stander volcano. The carving (sandblast) is interspersed with real gold flecks.
The cord around the pipe is a 'shide', the zig-zag paper streamers. It purifies the article when a ' haraegusihi' wand is waved over it. It bring blessing and protects from evil spirits.
